We have the honor of hosting one of today’s best fantasy writers, Tim Powers, as a live interview guest!

If you’ve ever heard Tim talk before, you know you’re in for a treat. Tim’s history-drenched speculative fiction has been made into movies, inspired video games, and won him more awards than you can shake a stick at. But what I really love about Tim’s work is his unflinching dedication to well-researched historical events that, though often influenced by dark supernatural powers, are written in light of his Catholic faith.

In this conversation, I’ll ask Tim about his ideation and writing process, what it’s like to be a devout Christian writer in a non-Christian creative environment, and how he navigates options to turn his works into films, video games, etc. 

In particular, I’ll ask Tim about his critically-acclaimed novel Declare, which I think is one of the best novels of the 21th century.
